Tired from his journey, Yeshua sat beside Yaakov’s well in Shomron. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and he asked her for a drink. She was surprised, because Jews and Samaritans did not normally share drinking vessels.
The conversation moved from the water in the well to living water, to the woman’s life, and to the question of where to worship God. Yeshua spoke of worshiping the Father in spirit and truth, and revealed that he was the Mashiach she was speaking about.
The woman left her water jar and went into town. She invited people to come and see. Many came out to him, heard for themselves, and believed.
