When Yeshua stepped out of the boat, a man who had long lived among the tombs met him. People had tried to restrain him with chains, but he tore them apart and no one could control him.
Yeshua commanded the spirits to leave him. Afterward, the local people saw the man sitting at Yeshua’s feet, clothed and in his right mind. They were afraid and asked Yeshua to leave.
The man asked to go with him, but Yeshua sent him home to tell what God had done for him and how he had shown him mercy. He went through the whole town telling what Yeshua had done for him.
