Yeshua was led outside the city and crucified between two men. Even in his pain, he asked forgiveness for those who hurt him. After his death, Yosef of Ramatayim laid his body in a tomb, and the women saw where he was laid.
On the first day of the week, the women came to the tomb and found the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. They heard that Yeshua had risen. The disciples struggled to believe until Yeshua himself stood among them and greeted them with shalom.
He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures and sent them to be witnesses of what they had seen. Then he blessed them, and they returned to Jerusalem with joy.
