One of the Perushim invited Yeshua to eat at his house. A woman from the town, known as a sinner, heard that Yeshua was there. She brought a jar of perfume, stood behind him at his feet, and wept.
Her tears wet his feet. She wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with perfume. The Parush thought that if Yeshua were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman was touching him.
Yeshua told a story about two debtors whose debts were forgiven and asked which would love more. Then he pointed out how the woman had offered what his host had not. He said her many sins were forgiven, that her faith had saved her, and sent her away in peace.
