Nakdimon, a leader of the people and one of the Perushim, came to Yeshua at night. He said Yeshua had come from God, because no one could do these signs unless God was with him.
Yeshua said a person must be born from above to see the kingdom of God. Nakdimon struggled to understand. Yeshua spoke of being born of water and the Spirit, and of God’s Spirit working like the wind, which blows beyond our control.
Yeshua recalled the serpent Moshe lifted up in the wilderness and said the Son of Man would also be lifted up, so that everyone who believed in him would have eternal life. God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, not to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him.
